Four Flies Records is an independent label based in Rome, dedicated to uncover and bring back to life the finest Italian sound recorded from late 50’s to early 80’s for cinema, radio and television. Its work of never-ending research and digging through the most obscure Italian archives and warehouse has contributed to reveal, re-establish and rewriting the discographies of some prestigious composers such as Alessandro Alessandroni, Piero Umiliani, Giuliano Sorgini, Silvano D’Auria, and creating new cults among the worshipers of Italian sound. Recently Four Flies has started two new production lines on 7” (FLIES 45 serie) and 12” (FLIES DJ serie), mainly conceived for the DJs of the acid-jazz, soul, funk, disco and hip-hop scene and club-culture circuit.
