After two sold out 12″ EPs on Optimo Trax, Boot & Tax head over to mother label Optimo Music for the release of their debut self-titled, 9-track album.
The Milanese duo are comprised of Cristian Croce (already part of The Barking Dogs) and Claudio Brioschi (Brioski), two of the most popular and respected djs/producers of the Italian scene who share a great passion for analog synths and experimentation, and a deep knowledge of both clubbing and production.

And this passion for analog synths clearly emerge while you’re listening to that bunch of great compositions.
Their knowledge of analog machines have been highlighted in almost every song: from the psychedelic carousel in ‘Sublime’ to the acid house tribute to Kraftwerk in ‘Dancin‘.
Italian duo love to experiment various kind of sounds as desert guitar inserts in the cosmic track ‘Red Guitar‘, dub african reggae beats in ‘Good Fela‘, and create imaginary atmospheres in songs like ‘Sazarda Gente‘, a clapping dance where a Mediterranean breeze caress the listener, or our favourite track ‘Sound Of Baloo‘, an acid western soundtrack influenced by hypnotic latin dub melody.
